  So once before I did this and it got A TON OF NOTES, like hundreds, and I am feeling like it would be a cool idea to do it again. There’s a culture of self-disparagement on tumblr, it feels like, sometimes, one that I participate in myself, and I think it is important to say other kinds of things about ourselves too? Uh.

  REBLOG AND LIST THREE THINGS ABOUT YOU THAT ARE GENUINELY GREAT. I mean, real qualities/skills/whatevers about yourself you think are excellent, not just, I can pick up things with my feet like they’re hands. (I can do that, though, incidentally.)

  Ok I’ll go first: 

  1. I am usually able to find beauty and joy and worthwhile stuff even when things are really awful.

  2. I am very kind.

  3. I have a pretty great sense of humor and know when not to take myself too seriously.

  3. I have recently discovered I am quite charismatic on the telephone. (WHO KNEW!)

  1. I don’t let stuff that scares me stop me from doing said stuff.

  2. I’m a very emotional person, which often SEEMS like a negative, but I think it also means that I let myself feel whatever I’m feeling and connect with things on an emotional level.

  3. I’m tenacious.

  1. I have so many fucking feelings. I am passionate about shit and I allow things to touch me deeply. I love intensely.

  2.  Give me an idea or a text and I will mine nuances from that shit for days. I have a fantastic mind not just for details but for shades of meaning and subtlety.

  3.  I am resilient as fuck.
